Ask see a copy of their Health and Safety Policy and accident statistics. They need to have a safety accreditation like CHAS, ISO 45001 or one of the SSIP’s

Environmental Protection
What measures will they put in place to reduce the effect of noise, dust, vibration and traffic movements. We do use 24/7 dust and noise monitoring equipment to ensure dust and noise levels do not exceed HSE Guidelines. We also use high pressure water sprays to dampen down dust and protection scaffolding covered in monarflex.
They should also put something in place for cleaning roads.
Community Liaison
An important part of a demolition project is making sure those living and working close to the site are engaged before the work starts.
