City Gate House is a 1930’s building designed by Fredrick Gould and Giles Robert Scott. The refurbishment and extension of this famous building are to provide over 200,000 sqft of B1 lettable Office Space over 10 floors.
Scope of Works
Working in a single enclosure with a four-stage clearance Inner City carried out the removal of lead-containing paint using a quilling machine using abrasive methods to stair cores 1 & 5 balustrades under controlled conditions.
The paint is removed using a Torbo wet sandblasting method system which is safer than a dry system.
