Demolition Challenge in Harrow
Norbury School in Harrow rose to the ‘Demolition Challenge’ when two sets of 12 pupils took part before they broke up for their School Holidays.
Social Value Manager Alan Knight and Business Development Director Mark Roberts were delighted with the response from the pupils. Before they visited the School Downwell had sent them video and information explaining the demolition process and the importance recycling plays in it.
After an introduction by Alan Knight the pupils took to the challenge whole heartedly.
The top 3 in each group scoring the highest points from delivering the waste materials to the recycling centre were awarded book tokens by Mark Roberts.
