Surveyors Cup Information
A big thank you to all the teams that have entered the tournament and we look forward to meeting you on Friday 30th June. So the day runs smoothly please read the following carefully.
VENUE
The tournament is taking place at the Powerleague Fairlop. There is plenty of parking on site. Nearest underground is Fairlop on the Central Line which is a 15 minute walk away.
ARRIVAL
All teams need to arrive in plenty of time between 11.45 -12.15
On arrival you will need to check your team in at reception. You will be issued with an envelope containing Power League Rules, a team sheet to fill in along with drinks vouchers for use in the bar. There are changing rooms and showers.

Space is limited for Kit bags so we suggest that you keep them with you or put into a Car.
TEAM PHOTOGRAPHS
We would like to take a team picture of all teams as soon as you are changed. Therefore we ask you to report to the main pitch once you have changed so we can take these. Once you have done this we will have a limited number of balls available for a kick around on specified pitches. There will be photographers taking images throughout the tournament and these will be published after the tournament. All teams will receive a framed Team Picture.
TEAM BRIEFING
A team briefing will take place at 12.40 in the main area where you will be told what pitch you will be playing on. It is very important for Team Captains to be in the main area to listen to this so the tournament can start on time.
TOURNAMENT START
It is the aim to start matches at 1.00pm.
KIT AND FOOTWEAR
The Powerleague have very strict Health and Safety rules and the only footwear allowed will be Astros Rubber Studs and Trainers, No Blades of any description. Please ensure you make this clear to your team before the day. Shin pads must be worn. You must provide your own team kit.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
It is very important that you let us know as soon as possible before the Tournament if you are unable to participate as we will have to make changes to the Tournament format. The first stages of the tournament will be on a league basis before going into a knock out competition.
The top two teams from each group will go into the knockout stages of the Surveyors Cup. Teams finishing in 3rd and 4th will go into a plate competition knock out competition.
(The Power League reserve the right change this)
TEAMS
You are allowed 8 players maximum in a squad and team sheets have to be filled in before the tournament start. Teams will be able to roll on and roll off substitutes.
DRINKS
We will supply water and Lucozade throughout the tournament. Teas and Coffees will also be available to spectators. This is FREE of charge to team members.
FOOD AND DRINK
We be supplying food once the tournament has finished which we are supplying to team members. You can use your supplied vouchers for a drink in the bar whenever you want.
NETWORKING
If you want to bring any promotional materials along with information about your company we will make a table available to put them on. Feel free to Network if you have any energy left! You are welcome to stay and use the bar after the tournament.
