The Waterfowl Sanctuary is self-funded by Graham and Rebecca on a 23 acre site. Electric fences make it safe for the Ducks, Geese, and magnificent Swans to roam free.
They rescue injured or birds in danger and work closely with the RSPCA and local Vets.
Graham is like a superhero who is out at all times of the day and night when needed.
They can reintroduce birds back into the wild, but in many cases where injuries mean they will not survive, they are given a home at the Sanctuary.
A lot of injuries occur on rivers when the birds get tangled with the fishing line.
Their work is all self-funded.
They spend £700.00 a month on food alone.
